Thought of the Day: Giving


We are all incredibly deep and beautiful beings with so much to give to the world. Some of us feel like we give more than we get; others may feel guilty for getting so much when others have little.

Take a few moments today to define what "giving" means to you. You may be ready for a new definition!
  • Do you give so other people can be happy?
  • Do you give with the expectation to receive?
  • Do you give too much, ending up exhausted, broke, or depressed?
  • Do you give with peace and joy, for the simple act of giving?
Take some time to think about what you give to others: material items, warm dinners, physical presence, fantastic work, good vibrations... and ask if you give yourself the same.

Take a moment today (and every day!) to give something special to the most important person in your life ~ you! Think about what's most important to you ~ time, food, rest, water, forgiveness, exercise, thanks ~ and make sure your own wish list gets fulfilled.

May your life be filled with gratitude and abundance!
